In his column in The Philippine Star, Spy Bits, Babe G. Romualdez reported that “a real estate informant” told him that Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao “is about to sell his house located at Cambridge Circle in Forbes Park for PHP708 million.”
The column noted: “It may be remembered that Pacquiao bought the 1,500 square-meter property from RCBC president Lorenzo Tan for PHP388 million in 2011.”
If it’s true that Pacquiao is selling his Forbes Park mansion, the only reason for it would be for him to pay off the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
But while Pacquiao may not have the advantage in his fight with the BIR, he’s favored to win over Chris Algieri in their fight on Nov 23 in Macau.
