Happy anniversary!

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is celebrating its 75th anniversary at its headquarters in Camp Karingal in Quezon City on Monday, November 24,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.

This year’s anniversary theme is “Pulis QC: Pitumpu’t-limang Taong Kaagapay ang Mamamayan para sa Patuloy na Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran.” Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista is the guest of honor.

The report noted: “Director Carmelo Valmoria, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, and Senior Supt. Joel Pagdilao, QCPD district director, will assist Bautista in presenting awards and recognitions to policemen, units, government organizations, and non-government organizations (NGOs) for outstanding achievements and contributions to the achievements of the plans and programs of the QCPD.”
