Maybe he just stole the cab, too.

“Authorities are looking for a taxi driver who robbed a passenger of her valuables and then seized a two-way communication radio and motorcycle of a traffic enforcer in Quezon City on Monday, November 24,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to Charlotte Toringan, she boarded a Villegas taxi with plate number UVB 491 at Quezon Avenue at around 5am and asked the driver to bring her to Cubao.

After a few minutes, the driver announced a robbery. He took Toringan’s bag, which contained a smartphone, money, and other valuables.

The driver then parked the taxi at the EDSA Kamuning flyover. He got out of the cab and pointed a gun at a passing MMDA traffic enforcer driving a motorcycle.

The report noted: “The traffic enforcer, Isaac Mariano, said he initially thought the taxi had engine trouble and was surprised when the driver pointed a gun at him. He said the robber hitched a ride on his motorcycle and then ordered him off the vehicle when they reached the end of the flyover. He said the robber took his two-way communication radio as well as his motorcycle.”

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is now on the case.
