Weather advisory: Queenie is coming

“The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that tropical depression ‘Queenie’ has maintained its strength and is expected to make landfall over Surigao del Sur on Wednesday afternoon, November 26,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “PAGASA said the tropical depression is expected to traverse the Northern Mindanao area Wednesday evening and is expected to be 35 kilometers north of Dipolog City by Thursday morning, November 27.”

Queenie will be outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Fri evening, Nov 28.

  • Southern Cebu
  • Negros Oriental
  • Southern Negros Occidental
  • Siquijor
  • Surigao del Norte including Siargao Island
  • Surigao del Sur

  • Agusan del Sur

  • Davao Oriental
  • Compostella Valley
  • Dinagat Province
  • Camiguin
  • Misamis Oriental
  • Misamis Occidental
  • Bukidnon
  • Zamboanga del Norte
