It’s not the first time that a shop within Teachers Village was robbed this way.
“Six people inside Empire Steak restaurant in UP Teachers Village, Quezon City were robbed of more than PHP180,000 in cash and gadgets by two men sometime past 8pm on Wednesday, December 3,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.
According to the report filed at the Quezon City Police District Station 9, “the suspects, who arrived on board a motorcycle, went inside the restaurant pretending as customers.” After a few moments, one of them pulled out a handgun and announced a robbery.
The report noted: “The suspects ordered the victims to leave their valuables on their table and herded them into the comfort room.”
The suspects then easily made their getaway.
