Bastille: Bad Blood Tour

When: Jan 5, 8pm
Where: World Trade Center, Buendia Ave Ext cor Diosdado Macapagal Blvd, Pasay City
Tickets: PHP4,800 via SM Tickets
Who: Bastille (UK)
Infamous for: That whats-going-on video “Torn Apart.” It’s a cross between Michael Jackson’s “Black and White” and horror-slash-romcom. The video takes so much attention from the song, so we recommend you listen instead of watch. Anyway, the song is from the third installment of their popular Vs series, which has just been released. Much heralded is their collab with Haim but we think you should pay more mind to the last track “Remains” which features Sunk Anansie!
The one song you should know: “Pompeii,” which Bastille drummer Chris “Woody” Wood has called “the song that changed everything.”

That other song you should know: “Laura Palmer”

That other song you should know: We’ll give you four other songs you should know about: “Menswear,” “Money,” “Someone to Watch You,” and “Chocolate” because they are the band’s favorites.

Infamous for: That incredibly epic day when tickets went on sale. Girls lined for over 12 hours just to get hold on those meaty PHP17k tickets. Such was the demand that promoters were able to muscle another day off 1D’s schedule.

The one song you should know: The gateway song to Lenny Kravitz would have to be a toss up between “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over” and “Fly Away.”
