8 things we learned at the UP oblation run 2014

The Alpha Phi Omega (APO) fraternity held their annual Oblation Run at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City on Fri, Dec 12.

“Respect for the rule of law and a reexamination of the pork barrel system will top the calls of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity in this year’s Oblation Run,” reports GMA News Online. The group refers to the Oblation Run as the “Ritual Dance of the Brave,” the report notes.

That said, here are the eight naked truths that we learned from the daring tradition:

1. No matter how long it takes or how many tries you make, nothing beats the first time.

2. There’s nothing like nudity to prove a point.

3. You don’t need a perfect body to bare to the world. It’s what’s inside that counts.

4. If something’s done for a good cause, you can get excited about it as many times as you like.

5. You don’t have to see the entire package to celebrate it — a buttcheek is a beautiful part of the human anatomy, too.

6. Don’t judge a man by what he’s not wearing. Or: Don’t judge a book with no cover.

7. When it’s time to bare it all, be proud and let it all hang out.

8. Some things are worth the wait.
