Metro Manila commuters, be warned.

“The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday, December 17, appealed to commuters and motorists to be extra patient during the holiday rush as it expects the traffic situation to be at its worst on Friday, December 19,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.

The report noted: “MMDA Chair Francis Tolentino said the agency expects traffic flow in Metro Manila, especially at the vicinity of shopping malls to be packed with people who will do last-minute shopping.

Tolentino reiterated that “traffic flow is not only heavy on EDSA but also on roads leading to shopping malls and other commercial establishments.”
