MRT, LRT, and PNR cut short operating hours on selected dates

In an announcement posted on Twitter, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) informed the public about the shortened operating hours on selected dates this month for the LRT, Metro Rail Transit (MRT), and Philippine National Railways (PNR).

Below is the schedule on the selected dates.

LRT 1 (normally runs from 5am to 10pm from Baclaran in Pasay to Roosevelt, Quezon City)
Dec 24 – until 8pm
Dec 31 – until 7pm

LRT 2 (normally runs from 5am to 10pm from  Recto to Santolan, Quezon City)
Dec 24 – until 8:30pm
Dec 31 – until 7:30pm

MRT-3 (normally runs from 4:30am to 11pm from Taft Avenue, Pasay to Quezon City)
Dec 24 – 4:30am to 9:14pm
Dec 25 – 6:30am to 10:44pm
Dec 31 – 4:30am to 9:14pm
Jan 1  – 6:30am to 10:44pm

“Similarly, the Philippine National Railways (PNR) will deploy its last trip from Tutuban, Manila to Alabang, Muntinlupa by 5:37 p.m. on December 24 and 31 instead of the normal schedule at 7:37 p.m. The first trip of the Metro South Commuter rail line on December 25 and January 1 will be deployed by 11:07 a.m. instead of the usual schedule of 5 a.m,” reports Kris Bayos in Manila Bulletin.
