At the celebration of the 79th anniversary at Camp Aguinaldo on Thu, Dec 18, Armed Forces of Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Gregorio Catapang told the troops on the sidelines that they need to stay health conscious in the face of tempting offerings such as lechon de leche (roasted suckling pig).

“Be health conscious. Don’t eat too much lechon de leche, which leads to more cholesterol,” Catapang said.

“The AFP chief also ordered the 125,000-strong military to be security conscious during the holidays,” reports Jaime Laude in The Philippine Star.
