An eight-year-old boy recently died when he was run over by a car in Pasig City. The incident happened at around 1:45pm at the corner of Riverside and Aurellana Streets in Bagong Ilog.
“According to information from the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) of the Eastern Police District (EPD), the boy had been walking on Riverside St. when the car driven by June Cavilda ran over him,” reports Rizal S. Obanil in Tempo.
Cavilda surrendered to the police immediately. He is now under police custody and is facing a case of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
