We have always depended on chef Henry Cheung to feed us downright delicious Asian dishes.
His Good Earth in Magallanes and the now-defunct Henry’s Place in Burgos Circle was proof of that, with dishes like Tunaquitos, pan-fried sea mantis and Hainanese chicken drawing customers in and keeping them content.
That’s why many were dismayed to learn of the closure of henry’s Place, especially since it was one of the few reliable restaurants in that area of BGC.
What many don’t know is that he’s moved to a new location in Parañaque.
H Home inside Bicutan’s Better Living Subdivision is Cheung’s new playground. This space is much cozier than Henry’s Place, with kitschy items for sale adorning the shelves and walls.
The menu retains his bestsellers and includes fresh, inspired ones. Still, it brings the same satisfaction we have come to expect from the seasoned chef. It’s time to visit home.
