Metro Manila train riders protest fare hike with the use of #PakyuMRT

A group of commuters are making their sentiments known about the looming Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) by flashing a dirty finger at a CCTV camera installed in any of the MRT-3 stations.

The protest move involves a little coordination, as the person flashing the dirty finger has to have an accomplice on standby online on the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) CCTV monitoring page and ready to take a screengrab of the act.

The screengrab is then posted on social media pages accompanied by the hashtag #PakyuMRT.
