We’re calling this a miracle.

“Erlinda Dizon, 67, reunited with her 39-year-old son Alexander during the procession of the Black Nazarene in Manila on Friday, January 9,” reports Johnson Manabat on ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to Erlina, Alexander has cancer and is suffering from memory loss. He went missing last in July last year at a fastfood chain in Santolan, Pasig.

Alexander is also unable to talk.

Erlinda said she has been searching for Alexander all this time.

The report noted: “On Friday, after Erlinda was pushed by the crush of Black Nazarene devotees, she spotted in the middle of the procession a man she later recognized as her missing son.”

Alexander reportedly smiled upon seeing his mother, who also showed him a picture of him with his friends in Manggahan, Pasig where they reside. Erlinda said her son’s appearance had changed. She said in Filipino: “He became bald and lost his teeth.”

But it didn’t matter.

Erlinda also later revealed that Jan 9, the Feast of the Black Nazarene, also happens to be her birthday. She has been a devotee since 2001.
