“A magnitude 6 earthquake hit San Antonio, Zambales before dawn on Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com. It struck at 3:31am.
The report adds, “Philvocs located the quake’s epicenter 43 kilometers southwest of San Antonio town.
Several cities in Metro Manila felt the quake, as well. Pasig, Pasay, Quezon City, and Manila (as well as Obando and Hagonoy, Bulacan and San Mateo, Rizal) felt an Intensity four quake.
Tagaytay felt an Intensity 3 earthquake, while Baguio and Batangas felt it at Intensity 2.
