Hip-hop Sensation Kid Cudi is Wanderland music festival’s headliner for this year’s — its third year, FYI — edition! According to Wanderland’s Facebook page, Kid Cudi isn’t playing any other dates or venues in Southeast Asia. The homie from Ohio is flying to this part of the region specifically to play Manila. Doesn’t that make you feel special?

Another Wanderland come on: Pogi rockers Hale has teamed back together for a massive comeback at Wanderland. Well, they’re releasing a new single called “See You” on Jan 27. That’s enough lead time for for the April gig, right?

The complete line-up will be revealed in the coming days so stay tuned. In the mean time, Karpos Media, the production outfit behind the local music festival, has been holding Wanderband, a search for under the radar local artists as a prelude to the festival. It’s down to its Top 5: The Strange Creatures, Fools and Foes, Ivan Theory, Dearest and Austin. Finals night is on Jan 31, 2015 at Green Sun Hotel in Makati. The winner gets a chance to play the festival stage as well.
