When you see teens at the mall, you don’t exactly expect them to be selling drugs.

“Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have jailed three teenagers for their involvement in illegal drug activities in Quezon City,” reports Journal Online.

The teens were aged 14, 16, and 17 years old.

According to PDEA chair Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr., the minors — all residents of Tandang Sora, Culiat, Quezon City — “conspired to sell some 200 grams of shabu worth PHP1 million to an undercover officer.

The report noted: “The sting conducted inside the SM City Annex in North Edsa resulted in the recovery of three pieces of big heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the suspected drugs and the marked money paid to them by the undercover officer.”
