We mourn for the fallen.
“Emotions ran high as the bodies of over 40 slain Philippine National Police-Special Action Force commandos arrived at the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City on Thursday, January 29, after the botched anti-terror raid in Maguindanao,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report said that the relatives of the slain elite cops were there to meet PNP-SAF operatives carrying the flag-draped metal coffins of the fallen troops out of the C-130 planes.
The report noted: “The remains of the fallen will be brought to the multipurpose gym beside the SAF headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa for the wake.”
