While the remains of the slain PNP-SAF cops arrived in Manila Thursday morning, our dear President Noynoy Aquino was in Laguna. Attending an inauguration. Of a manufacturing plant.

“Aquino on Thursday morning gave a speech at the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s new plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna,” reports Kristine Angeli Sabillo of Inquirer.net.

The report continues: “That same morning, the Philippine National Police gave arrival honors to members of the Special Action Force (SAF) who died in what the government called a ‘misencounter’ in Mamasapano town, Maguindanao.”

Meanwhile, Philstar reports that Deputy Presidential Spokesperon Abigail Valte “clarified that Aquino was not originally scheduled to be at Villamor Air Base. He will, however, lead the necrological service at Camp Bagong Diwa tomorrow.”
