The victim was bullied by the suspect but he chose to walk away. The suspect didn’t like this, too, so he went after him. Crazy, right?

“Russel Beltran, 41, was allegedly stabbed by his neighbor, a man identified only as ‘Kong-kong,’ along Road 1 in Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila,” reports Rachel Joyce E. Burce in Tempo.

According to Police Officier 2 Ryan Jay Balagtas of Manila Police District (MPD) Station 1, the victim and suspect were both drunk when they ran into each other on Road 1.

The report noted: “The suspect bullied the victim, resulting into a heated argument. Beltran had enough and went home without him knowing that Kong-kong was following him.”

The report went on to disclose that “the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife from a barbeque stand nearby and stabbed the victim in the nape.”

Beltran was rushed to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila and is now out of danger. The suspect fled. Police are now looking for him.
