This is one way we can somehow help the families of the fallen.

“The Philippine National Police (PNP) opened a bank account for the 44 killed and 14 injured Special Action Force (SAF) members during the clash in Mamsapano, Maguindanao,” reports Tessa Distor in Manila Bulletin.

The money is meant to help the families of the fallen and wounded PNP-SAF cops.

The account was opened with the Land Bank of the Philippines with the account name “PNP Special Assistance Fund” and account number 1862-1027-77.

The report noted: “Donors may contact/text PCINSP Renate F. Pinuela of the Directorate for Comprollership at mobile number 09178576020.”
