Why are these riding-in-tandem killings still happening so often?

“Reynaldo Reyes, 45, of Barangay Bangkal, Makati was shot dead by two men aboard a motorcycle on Friday morning, February 6,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.

The report noted: “Initial investigation by the Makati Police showed that Reyes had just dropped-off his nine-year-old son at the Bangkal Elementary School and was heading home along Evangelista Street when the suspects appeared.”

According to witnesses, one of the suspects then drew out a pistol and shot Reyes on the head at close range.

The report revealed that “the Makati Police homicide investigators are still establishing the motive for the victim’s killing as well as the identities of the suspects.”
