Korean restaurant owner shot dead by robber in QC

When will these restaurant robberies stop?

“Korean businesswoman Mi Kyung Park, 40, was shot by an unidentified man who tried to rob the Bean Leaf restaurant along Don Antonio Drive in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City,” reports Robertzon Ramirez in The Philippine Star.

The incident happened at around 1:35pm on Mon, Feb 9. Park was the proprietor of the restaurant.

According to Superintendent Segundo Lagundi, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 6 commander, witnesses described the robber as 5’7” tall and clad in a black shirt, denim pants and a baseball cap.

The suspects also wore what looked like reading glasses.

Lagundi said a manhunt has been launched for the robber.
