One monster has been nabbed.

“On Thursday, February 12, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested Mark Soque, the man who has been tagged for the series of shop robberies and rapes in Quezon City,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “The series of robberies started December 23, 2014 in a dermatological clinic in UP Village, followed by several other incidents involving a spa, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. On January 26, another coffee shop along Regalado Avenue in Fairview was robbed. The following day, a furniture shop along Katipunan Avenue was robbed.”

In at least two of these robberies, Soque also reportedly raped female staff members. The report indicated, “In all the eight robbery incidents, Soque asked the victims to take off their clothes. They were also tied up and locked inside the restroom.”

In his latest robbery earlier this week, Soque also allegedly shot dead a Korean businesswoman.

It’s worth noting that Soque was with an accomplice, another man, in some of the said robberies.

The report revealed that Soque was arrested near a mall along Commonwealth Avenue. Recovered from him were a grenade, a caliber .45 pistol, several sachets of suspected shabu, and his motorcycle.

Soque has been positively identified by several of his victims.
