Cheaters never prosper — and sometimes they end up hurt badly.
“At around 11:20 p.m. last Sunday, February 15, Jovito Diaz, 44, walked into his home in Zamboanga Sibugay and saw his wife kissing his friend, jeepney driver Joselito Permano, in the kitchen,” reports Zaida delos Reyes-Palanca on Journal Online.
Diaz got hold of a knife and stabbed Permano, who also happened to be married himself.
The report noted: “Initial investigation showed that Diaz and Permano had a drinking session at a friend’s house. Diaz pretended to be drunk and was left at the house by Permano. When Diaz went home, he caught Permano and his wife locked in a passionate kiss.”
Permano managed to seek help from neighbors who rushed him to the St. John General Hospital. Diaz immediately surrendered to the authorities.
The report revealed that “Diaz had already been hearing rumors of his wife’s affair with Permano.”
