There’s no stopping Metro Manila’s dining scene. There’s always a new restaurant opening, a new item introduced on the menu, a new trend to get crazy over.

Thankfully, restaurant guidebooks are following suit. Joining Claude Tayag’s culinary travel guide Linamnam and Alicia Sy’s annual Eat Out Now, is Eats.

Published by Hinge Inquirer, Eats was only launched a week ago. Something of spin-off of Hinge’s Living titles, Eats simplifies Metro Manila’s dining scene by organizing the city and its restaurants into two: North, for everything up Makati, and South for everything down Makati.

Instead of a frenzied, blow-by-blow listing of the latest and the newest, Eats trims down your culinary options to new hits and fresh concepts that have hit Metro Manila in recent times. It’s a calm, and sober take on the local dining scene.

Below are a couple of pages from the book:

A feature on 12/10, which is a restaurant located on Guijo Street in Makati.

Recipes are also included, because sometimes, all you wanna do is eat at home.

Eats (PHP95) is now available in all leading bookstores nationwide.
