This is the first time a French President has ever visited the Philippines, and Pres. François Hollande does it in true French fashion.
With him as he landed in Villamor Airbase just a few minutes before 12pm are French actresses Melanie Laurent and Marion Cotillard. So now, he has our full undivided attention.

Wearing what seems to be signature French stripes and a hat, Marion was seen walking with crutches.
According to Rappler. com, “When asked by Philippine media about her condition, she replied, ‘Oh, nothing serious,’ reports said.”
Marion Cotillard is a huge environmentalist, so it makes perfect sense that she came along on this state visit. One of the bigger agendas of the French President is to talk about climate change.
