Do you think this should be done?

“Two leaders of the minority in the House of Representatives — Minority Leader Ronaldo Zamora and Isabela Representative Rodolfo Albano III — are urging their colleagues to support a call to have Senator Juan Ponce Enrile placed under house arrest because of his health,” reports Lira Dalangin-Fernande on InterAksyon.com.

Zamora and Albano wrote, “Senator Enrile’s advanced age and current state of health require certain medical procedures and facilities to ensure his continued well-being.”

Albano said they intend to file the resolution on Monday.

The report noted: “The 91-year-old Enrile, one of three senators detained and facing trial for plunder and graft over their alleged participation in the pork barrel scam, was taken to the Makati Medical Center around 3 a.m. Thursday for pneumonia and coughing up blood. Enrile was moved from the Philippine National Police General Hospital in Camp Crame, where he is detained.”

Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla are likewise locked up at the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame.
