This cheered us up.

“The newly designated ‘Gay Traffic Squad,’ which is composed of 20 members, is now working full-time with the police in the town of Rosario, Cavite,” reports Anthony Giron in Tempo.

And they are effective in manning the traffic and keeping the pedestrian area safe, officials said.

According to Mayor Jose “Nonong” Ricafrente Jr., he intends to hire 10 more male gay enforcers after the group’s performance got stellar reviews from the public.

Ricafrente said in Filipino, “The feedback from the public is great.”

The Gay Traffic Squad of Rosario, Cavite was first put in action on Feb 7.
