The family is in crisis.

“The camp of detained Senator Bong Revilla has filed a petition  asking the Sandiganbayan First Division that he be allowed to leave detention at the Philippine National Police (PNP) custodial center for three hours to visit his son, Cavite Vice-Governor Jolo Revilla, at the hospital,” reports Adrian Ayalin on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Jolo has been confined at the intensive care unit of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa for a gunshot wound in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital Saturday after he supposedly shot himself by accident while cleaning a handgun.”

The report revealed that “the Sandiganbayan magistrates asked Revilla’s lawyers to produce the medical report on the vice-governor’s condition.”

Talent manager Lolit Solis, a close friend of the Revilla family, had said that Jolo had been down due to is father’s case.

The elder Revilla is currently being held without bail in Camp Crame, facing charges of plunder for alleged misuse of his pork barrel allocations.
