His death wish got fulfilled in the worst way possible.

“In a jealous rage, a 42-year-old man named Michael Aguilar set fire to the room that he shared with his wife in their home along Maceda Street in Sampaloc, Manila last Thursday, February 26” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.

According to the police, Aguilar and his wife, Mary Jane, had an argument at around 2:35am.

The report noted: “Michael allegedly told his children to leave the room, then poured gasoline in the room and lit it up, saying he and his wife should die together.”

The couple’s 16-year-old son rushed to their burning room to rescue his parents. He took Aguilar outside and left him on the road then rushed his mother to a hospital.

Aguilar, though, was later killed when a truck hit him. Police are now trying to find the truck that hit Aguilar.
