It’s beyond ironic that all these fires are happening at the start of Fire Prevention Month.
“Another fire erupted in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday, March 3, in a residential area near Gate 1 of Parola Compound,” reports Zhander Cayabyab on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “The fire erupted past 1 p.m. and was put out about two hours later. It razed at least 50 homes, affecting 100 families.”
Authorities said the fire may have been caused by power pilferage through the use of a “jumper.”
Just this Mon, Mar 2, a fire hit another portion of Parola compound, leaving some 5,000 homes burned to the ground.
