Congrats to Anne Curtis for her latest accomplishment. UNICEF just appointed her celebrity advocate for children.

She actually went to Leyte and spent two days there interacting with kids and families that survived Typhoon Yolanda. She supported emergency response and also checked a maternal health care ward in the regional hospital, an immunization spot, a child-friendly space, plus day care centers and schools.

So anong role nya?

She needs to focus on the promotion of Early Childhood Care & Development, and mobilize support and resources for vulnerable kids and families.

Actually, since 2009 pa pala supporter si Anne pero now lang siya naging advocate.. Other artists associated with UNICEF are Gary Valenciano and Daphne Osena-Paez.
