Floyd Mayweather Jr. can take away Manny Pacquiao’s complimentary tickets, but he may not be able to beat him. (Yes, we’re rooting for Pacman.)

“Strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune was surprised to discover that Manny Pacquiao is in relatively good shape at the start of their training camp for the May 2 super-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Pacquiao did some light training in his hometown of General Santos City before officially opening camp in Los Angeles earlier this week.”

Fortune told sports journalist Eddie Alinea of PhilBoxing: “”I was really surprised, seeing him for the first time yesterday (last Monday, March 2) because I was expecting him to be in very bad shape following almost four months of inactivity. (It’s) good news, really, because we won’t be having a hard time in putting Manny back to his fighting form.”

The report revealed that “Fortune estimated that Pacquiao is now ‘60% in shape,’ and moves as well as he did in the week before he fought Chris Algieri.”

Fortune added, “We will fill the next 40% of what he lacks in the next two months/ I don’t think there will be any problem, as far as Manny’s conditioning aspect is concerned.”
