It looks like Julia Barretto and her dad Dennis Padilla have totally patched things up after getting to sort things out after the snubbing incident in a Dreamscape event where Julia reportedly ignored her dad. This is because the teen star of ABS-CBN has announced that she has decided to keep her father’s surname, which is Baldivia.
“Right now there’s really no need to change my last name,” she said during a press con yesterday for her upcoming 18th birthday party.
She also clarified how this is not damage control or just a gimmick. “How can they think that way?” she asked. “How can you think that a young child wants to get everything okay again with her own father just for publicity? I can’t even embrace that thought.”
