Oh, Fire Prevention Month, a cosmic joke is being played on you.
“Fire broke out and destroyed at least 50 houses in Purok 4, Alabang, Muntinlupa City at 1:28 a.m. on Saturday, March 7,” reports Zandro Ochona on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The fire reached the second alarm. It was put out at 3:30am.
According to Fire Chief Superintendent Roy Agulto, the fire affected about 100 families. He explained that the blaze quickly spread as the houses were made of light materials.
The investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
