“Movie actor Robin Padilla has pledged his support for Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s possible presidential bid in 2016,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “Padilla posted a photo on his Instagram account, showing him with Duterte and two others. They were wearing shirts with the slogan, ‘Duterte, Atin To ‘Pre!'”
Padilla wrote this caption to the photo: “and his words will soon be Flesh… Katipunan, the dream must now be realized… Let the Punisher begin.”
According to representatives of Duterte’s camp, Padilla had visited the mayor on Sat, Mar 7, and urged him to run for president. Plus, Padilla also asked Duterte if he could do a movie about his life.
The report said Duterte “flatly refused” Padilla’s requests…for now.
