Through her years in captivity, she was repeatedly raped by her abductor. She ended up being pregnant twice and raised her two kids in captivity as well.

“On Tuesday, March 17, a 19-year-old kidnap victim identified as ‘Ana’ (not her real name) was rescued in Sibagat, Agusan del Sur,” reports May Diez on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “‘Ana’ was kidnaped in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte in 2007 when she was only 11 years old. Her family had looked for her and had thought she was already dead.”

“Ana” was rescued in a joint operation launched in Poblacion, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur by police personnel from Sibagat and Nasipit Municipal Police Stations.

Police arrested her abductor, a man named Danny Cueva Gonzales, who revealed that he had once lived in the home of the victim’s family. The report didn’t explain Gonzales had been a friend of the family or was only renting bedspace at that time.

Gonzales will be facing multiple charges of kidnapping, rape, and illegal possession of firearms.
