Congratulations to the new lawyers!

“A student of the San Beda College of Law scored a grade of 85.5% to top the 1,126 law graduates who passed the 2014 Bar exams,” reports Mark Merueñas on GMA News Online.

The report noted: “The passing grade for the 2014 Bar exams was lowered from 75 to 73%. It was the third time that the Supreme Court en banc decided to lower the passing grade, the first one was in 2012 with 70%, and 2013 with 73%.”

 There were 6,344 bar examinees in 2014.
