Imagine seeing your stolen car out on the street.

“Businessman Tychicus Nambio, 38, was able to recover his stolen car after he saw it being driven by a man in San Juan City on Saturday afternoon, March 28,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.

The report noted: “Nambio followed his white Honda Civic until it stopped at the parking area of Puregold Agora along N. Domingo street in Barangay Pedro Cruz. He then called up San Juan police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Arcinas to have the driver of his stolen car, Mark Yap alias ‘Franco de Lara,’ 35, arrested.”

Nambio presented documents proving that he owns the car Yap was driving. Arcinas later turned over Yap to car theft investigators of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).

The report recalled: “Nambio’s car was stolen at the parking lot of the National Kidney and Transplant Institute along East Avenue, Quezon City on Dec. 14, 2014. The businessman reported the incident to the QCPD anti-car theft unit and the Highway Patrol Group at Camp Crame. However, he didn’t get any progress report from the police for more than three months.”
