What a stinker!

“A 10-wheeler truck carrying some PHP10 million worth of deodorants was hijacked last March 28 at the corner of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard and V. Mapa Street in Sta. Mesa, Manila,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.

Information from the Manila Police District-Station 8 revealed that “six men, who were wearing Philippine National Police (PNP) patrol uniforms and aboard a white Toyota Avanza  (TVB-847) blocked the truck and at gunpoint ordered its driver to stop.”

The report noted: “Truck driver Marvin Orcojada, 28, and his assistant, Joey Pacao, 30, were tied in the hands and ordered to get out. They were made to board the van where three suspects remained while the other three commandeered the truck. When they reached Sta. Cruz, Bulacan, the victims were made to get off the van and then abandoned, while the suspects took the truck with them.”

The victims sought help from the Bulacan police, who assisted them in reporting the case to the MPD-Theft and Robbery Section.

Police are now looking for the truck loaded with deodorant and the suspects.
