Here’s something that should definitely put a smile on Kim Henares’ face.
According to a list released by the Bureau of Internal Revenue Friday, People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao is the top taxpayer for the year of 2013.
“Citing data as of Nov 24, 2014, BIR said Pacquiao paid P163.8 million in regular income taxes for the taxable year of 2013. He was followed by Juanito P. Alcantara, who paid P99.6 million in taxes,” reports Kate Pedroso on Inquirer.net.
Completing the top five tax payers of the country are Estelito Mendoza (PHP73.2 million, 3rd), Reynaldo Chico Jr. (PHP67.3 million, 4th) and finally, property tycoon Andrew Tan, who paid PHP67.2 million.
