The Gin Kings are definitely not wasting any time. Just three days after bowing out of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup with a 92-91 loss to Rain or Shine, talks about shuffles and trades in staff and players abound.

According to a report by Musong R. Castillo on Inquirer.net, Barangay Ginebra is replacing coach Ato Agustin with assistant Frankie Lim.

This will be Lim’s first head coaching job in the PBA, the report notes.

“But what’s stunning are trade rumors that, according to a reliable source, could involve national team point guard LA Tenorio,” the report says.

It continues: “The Inquirer source said that management is working on a deal that would send Tenorio to Globalport in exchange for rookie Stanley Pringle, and another that would ship Chris Ellis to Meralco for a yet-to-be-determined player.”
