MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra has decided to trade Dylan Ababou and James Forrester to Barako Bull after another disappointing conference, according to an online report.

In exchange, the Gin Kings will get the Energy Cola’s first round pick in the 2015 PBA Draft.

The trade was announced shortly after Frankie Lim replaced Ato Agustin as the Ginebra coach.

Ababou was seldom used by the Gin Kings as he only played 24 minutes in five games in the Commissioner’s Cup. The trade will reunite him with his former Energy Cola teammates as he played for Barako during his rookie season.

Forrester, on the other hand, played only in 17 games for Ginebra since the team picked him fourth overall in the 2013 PBA Draft.

Barako Bull coach Koy Banal is pleased to have the two in his team.

“They will give us outside arsenal and the stability on the defensive end. I know Dylan and James very well because they both played for me,” he said in the PBA website.

“I will still go for the experience, the tried and tested, rather than the inexperience.”
