Highest PH temperature in 2015…so far: 36°C in Tuguegarao City

Will it get hotter?

“According to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the hottest day so far this year fell on Wednesday, April 1, as temperatures soared to 36°C,” reports GMA News Online.

PAGASA explained that the said the 36°C temperature was recorded in Tuguegarao City in Cagayan province at  2:05pm.

The report noted that “it surpassed the previous record for 2015, which was 35.5°C recorded last Monday, March 30.”

PAGASA said that “temperatures are still likely to rise in the coming days as the dry (summer) season has officially started.”
