Does alcohol make people stupid or is stupidity innate and just enhanced by alcohol?
“A security guard named Jericho Estares, 37, was nabbed by Manila Police District (MPD) Station 1 operatives after he fired his service firearm indiscriminately on Monday morning, April 6, at the Manila Harbor Center in Tondo, Manila, allegedly while under the influence of liquor,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.
The report noted: “Estares’ arrest stemmed from a complaint filed by mechanic Roldan Perillo, 40, who witnessed the incident at around 12:20am.”
Police later found out that Estares was seen drinking liquor. For no reason at all, he suddenly drew his service firearm and began firing.
Estares will be charged with illegal discharge of firearm.
