Ai-ai delas Alas was welcomed back by GMA 7 yesterday, April 16, 2015, and they even had a parade and a press con for her.
During the press con, writer Gorgy Rula asked the comedienne if Kris Aquino is one of the reasons why she decided to switch networks. The two used to be best friends, but had a falling out, even if they sort of patched things up during the wedding of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes last Dec. 30, 2014.
After reminding everyone about how they reconciled during the two’s wedding, Ai-ai also said that their friendship didn’t return to how it was before. “Hindi na kami roommates,” she said. “Magkapitbahay na lang kami kasi nandito na ako, nandun pa siya.”
When asked if she still consider the Queen of All Media a friend, Ai-ai replied, “Siguro ano na lang… a former friend and a former roommate.”
So who are her friends now? Boy Abunda remains to be one of them (Boy is also close to Kris). Arnell Ignacio, Allan K, and Marian Rivera, too.
