If you follow the Instagram accounts of former lovers Jessy Mendiola and JM de Guzman, you would have noticed they’ve been posting a lot of sweet photos together and assumed they’ve gotten back together.
Well, they have gotten back together.
In last night’s episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, April 26, 2015, the two were guests and revealed that they are officially a couple again as of April 1. The two had split up for two years after dating for two years.
They said it all started last August when they saw each other jogging in UP Diliman. JM got nervous when he saw Jessy’s car because he didn’t know what to say or how to feel, while Jessy dashed to her car after JM said hi to her, adding she felt like she was in a movie: everything was in slow motion, everything else was blurry but him.
Asked if she still loved him back then, Jessy answered, “Akala ko hindi na pero nung nakita ko siya ulit, parang bumalik lahat.”
Jessy reportedly broke up with JM because he was using drugs and he had to go to rehab.
