Crime doesn’t pay when you get caught.

“Rodolfo Teodosio and Aljon Villanueva — two men who stole 50 television sets — and their buyer were arrested by Manila Police District-Station 7 operatives in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday night, April 28,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.

Members of the District Police Intelligence Operation Unit (DPIOU) and officials of Bgy. 252, Zone 23 in Tondo’s 2nd District also assisted in the operation.

The report noted: “Upon questioning, Villanueva identified the one who bought the stolen items as Josh Francis Lim, 20.”

Police went on to raid Lim’s place and found the stolen television units which were brought to the MPD Station 7 for proper disposition.

Teodosio and Villanueva were nabbed at the corner of Juan Luna and Tayuman Streets. The cops were on to them as Korean trader Wei Jian Xin, 49, had reported earlier this month that armed men had hijacked his truck containing the said television sets at the corner of Jose Abad Santos and Villaruel Streets in Tondo, Manila.

Tedodosio and Villanueva are facing highway robbery charges, while Lim will be charged with violation of the Anti-Fencing Law.
