MANILA – When her son Bimby goes back to school next month, Kris Aquino will have a new co-host on the morning program “Kris TV,” which she said will surprise her viewers.
Aquino announced this on Wednesday night when she asked if she has already allowed her youngest son to work in showbiz full time.
“May school na siya sa June 22 so ang ‘Kris and Bimby Summer TV’ will be ending soon. I do have a new co-host who is very, very exciting. Nilagawan ko ang co-host na iyon. Hindi niyo aakalain na papayag siyang makatrabaho ko kasi lalaki siya,” she said.
Without revealing the identity of her future co-host, Aquino hinted that he “represents the young, male, barubal, diretso lang.”
“Marami siyang mga hashtag na napasikat pero he’s very well-respected sa academe. Meron din siyang mga best-selling books na nasulat na,” she said.
Aquino said her yet-to-be-identified co-host was her personal choice because she wants “Kris TV” to offer new content for viewers.
“Nagkaroon siya ng hesitation. Kinausap ko ‘yung manager niya, kinausap ko siya. Inaaral niya ako as we speak kasi tinext ko siya ng happy birthday at sinabi niya, ‘Nanonood ako actually ng mga lumang episodes mo.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ako naman, binabasa ko ‘yung dalawa mong libro,’” she said.
Aquino said she will make the announcement about her new “Kris TV” co-host next week.
